Overview
This guide illustrates the integration process of the Requesty
platform with Intercom, enabling a seamless data export and tracking functionalities for messages and content engagement.
Prerequisites
Ensure that you have an active Intercom account and your Intercom App ID at hand.
Integration Steps
Step 1: Navigate to Settings
Visit Requesty.AI Settings to start the integration process.
Step 2: Connect with Intercom.
Click on the
Connect
button.
Step 3: Authorize Access
You will be redirected to an authorization page. Here, grant the necessary permissions to enable Requesty
to interact with your Intercom:
Authorize Exporting Data: Allow the export of message and content data.
Authorize Reading Data: Permit
Requesty
to read content and conversation data.Authorize Viewing Conversations: Enable viewing capabilities for conversation threads.
Click on Authorize Access
to finalize the permission settings.
Usage
Once the integration is established, Requesty
will commence tracking and exporting relevant data from Intercom, based on the permissions provided:
Message Data: Analyze the interactions and messages exchanged.
Engagement Data: Understand how users are engaging with messages and content through metrics like open rate, click rate, etc.
Content Data: Access and utilize data linked with content exchanges and interactions.
Data Points Tracked
Below is an overview of the data points that will be tracked and exported:
Message Data:
Content of messages sent and received.
Timestamps of messages.
Engagement Data for Messages:
Open rate.
Click rate.
Content Data:
Types of content shared (e.g., images, files, text).
Interaction data.
Engagement Data for Content:
Open rate.
Click rate.
Conversation Data:
Conversation threads.
Participant details.
Data Security and Compliance
Requesty
ensures that all data interactions and transactions are compliant with relevant data protection regulations and guidelines. The platform employs stringent security measures to safeguard the data being exported and read from Intercom.
